Supreme Court Receives Bullets & Letter
Today, the Greek Supreme Court's Prosecution office received an envelope with three 7.72-mm bullets inside, via the postal service.
The return address was titled "Alepoudellis". There was a note inside, that discussed prosecutors' family members, ministers and magistrates. No more additional specifics have been revealed. The letter requested for the release of imprisoned criminals, without offering names.
According to ANA, the document stated: "If in 15 days you have not released those unjustly remanded in custody in this dirty affair, then in the space of 20 months, either the minister, or the prosecutor or the magistrate involved in the case will mourn people close to them, regardless of age and sex. This period of time will be required to locate these targets. Injustice will wipe out families".
The ammunitions were identified upon its arrival, during a routine scan. The Supreme Court's security sector opened the document and found the three bullets and menacing letter. All of the items have been sent to the Greek counter-terrorism squad.
