GPO Poll Reveals Current Voting Opinions
Currently, SYRIZA is leading ahead of New Democracy, regarding the May 25th European elections by half a percent in popularity.
Yet a GPO poll administered for Mega Television broadcast also revealed that ND leads by 1.4%, if elections were being conducted today. The analysis studied Greek citizen's voting opinions between May 8th through 12th. It revealed a 21.5% lead for SYRIZA, compared to ND's 21% ranking. To Potami held third place at 8.5%, Golden Dawn generated 7.5%, and Greek Communist Party KKE gained 7%. The Olive Tree association achieved 6%, with Independent Greeks at 3.7% and Democratic Left with 3%. 14% of votes were currently undecided.
When asked about a general election vote now, New Democracy held 24.5% and SYRIZA had 23.1%. KKE placed third with 7.2% of votes, and The River achieved 7%, with Golden Dawn at 6.9%. The Olive Tree generated 5.9%, Independent Greeks held 4%, and Democratic Left had 2.8%. There was a 12.1% undecided vote.
