EC Candidate Debate Now Includes SYRIZA Leader Tsipras
Today's new candidate debate concerning the presidency of the European Commission, now includes SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras.
The discussion includes European People's Party candidate Jean-Claude Juncker, European Socialist candidate and current European Parliament President Martin Schulz, Liberal Democrats Leader and candidate Guy Verhofstadt and Green Party candidate Ska Keller.
The EU debate will be conducted for ninety minutes and is being held at the European Parliament's plenary chamber, and will be interpreted in 23 official EU languages. Italian RAI News 24 Director Monica Maggioni will moderate the discussion. The candidate discussion begins at 10:00 p.m. Greek Standard Time.
