Supreme Court Probes Reservist Group

An inquest into a letter posted on the internet, by a group of special forces reservists, demanding the government's resignation has caused the Areios Pagos, the country's supreme court, to launch a prosecution inquest after a late night meeting yesterday.
According to the announcement on the web, KEED (Community of Special Forces Reservists) group is "demanding the immediate resignation of the government since it can not offer the people all foreseen by the constitution (article 27) in terms of employment, health, education, justice, security," and "the establishment of National Unity Government under the President of the Areios Pagos, comprising persons of established value outside the political world and counselors from the Athens Academy."
The group also demands the resignation of the president of the rrepublic in due time to facilitate the developments the people wish.
