Venizelos Comments on European Reform, Brussels
Today, PASOK head and Greek government Vice President Evangelos Venizelos engaged in the Party of European Socialists Summit, ahead of the EU Summit in Brussels.
The leader focused on the need for Europe to alter its policies, in comparison to deeming roles for specific governmental delegates. Currently civic premiers are participating in EU meetings, prior to a EU Summit that will analyze European Parliamentary electoral outcomes, and implementing protocols to select the European Commission's next president.
Jean-Claude Juncker has been given a decree by the European Parliament, to establish an initial effort at constructing a majority, backing his candidacy. If it is not met, the mandate will be granted to Martin Schulz.
