- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
Golden Dawn MP Michalis Arvanitis was let go after his deposition to judicial authorities with the provision that he does not participate in party gatherings and does not leave the country.
Arvanitis is facing charges of belonging to and managing a criminal organization, but refused to answer questions, limiting himself to the statement that he belongs to a legally elected party and not a criminal organization and has never committed any criminal acts.
He also spoke of dishonorable and baseless accusations against him, maintaining that he is an honorable man. In statements to reporters afterward, Michalis Arvanitis said that it was not a joyous time, since seven of his comrades were imprisoned in Korydalos prison.
