Golden Dawn Trial Continues
Today in court, Golden Dawn lawmaker Artemis Matthaiopoulos provided a penned disposition, regarding his activity with the right-winged political party.
As widely reported, the GD delegate declined to comment on queries by the judges, but repeated that the party is not an illegal body. Matthaiopoulos' written statements were received at the same time that new pictures of Golden Dawn's deputy chief Christos Pappas were obtained.
The photos show Pappas, who remains in pre-trial custody, wearing a shirt with the swastika graphic as he salutes in Nazi mannerisms. The pictures contain the phrase: "Heil Hitler". Involved Golden Dawn members have shot down claims that the political entity abides by Nazi philosophies.
