Police Release Criminal Photos & Request Information
Today, the Greek police force released photos of two criminals guilty of stealing approximately 130,000 euros from senior citizens.
Triantafyllos Floros and Styliani nee Stergiopoulou are a married couple who conned over twelve older Athenians, in various parts of the city out of money. Their images were published because law enforcers are still trying to seize Stergiopoulou, who remains on the run. Floros was arrested after attempting to break into a 77-year-old woman's home.
It is thought that the two criminals acted as financial officials who requested cash from the elderly, and pretended that they or a family member owed money to the state. The police force is asking anyone with information about the felons to contact: 210.531.9301, 210.531.9302, 210.531.9306 and 210.641.1111.
