PASOK Against Labor & Union Law Reforms
PASOK declared that it does not agree to labor law and trade union alterations concerning rights, that have been reported in Greek media portals.
The party promised to rally against any changes discussed, according to global reports. The political party is referring to accounts that labor laws mandating strikes, lock outs and trade union rights and freedoms, will be modified, as reported by ANA-MPA.
PASOK stated: "We cannot, under present conditions, discuss the return of management lock outs and expanding mass dismissals," while also opposing: "vindictive actions against trade unions at a time when social dialogue and the reunification of the nation are conditions more necessary than ever for a final exit from the crisis".
