KKE Leader Blames Israel of Genocide
Today in Athens, the KKE head stated during a discussion with President Karolos Papoulias, “Despite the problems facing our people, we must not underestimate the fact that a genocide is taking place in our neighborhood. Innocent children, women, families are being killed”, according to Kathimerini.
The Greek President is worried as well and commented, “There are things going on in our neighborhood that have taken a dramatic turn and I don't believe that Greeks feel disinterested as they are very sensitive to these issues”.
It has been reported that over 650 Palestinians have died during the three weeks of violent turmoil, confirmed by the Gaza Health Ministry. In Israel, three civilians have passed away, along with 29 soldiers, while one soldier remains missing.
