Coast guard officers have arrested the daughter of well known journalist Manolis Kapsis in a drug related case. The 22 year old woman was arrested along with her 21 year old friend and flatmate.
On Wednesday morning, Coast Guard security officers stopped the 22 year old within the port area and submitted her to a search, during which they found her in possession of cannabis. She was then incarcerated at the Coast Guard headquarters at Mytilini.
The coast guard then requested a search warrant for her house in Athens where officers of the Piraeus coast guard found more cannabis and scales. Her father rushed to her aid immediately.
