Stylida Mayor Gletsos Announces New Party Plans

Apostolos Gletsos had announced the formation of a party when he was re-elected mayor of Stylida. There were many that thought the announcement was a void communications ploy that would fall by the wayside.
At the end of July he announced his collaboration with journalist Semina Digeni who undertook the communications policy of “Teleia,” meaning “full stop” as the new party is known Now the party's positions were set out, first through mediasoup.gr, the site run by Ms Digeni.
Among other things the text notes that the new party is seeking to reinstate values in politics and bring about a moral regeneration The text states that the party does not adhere to any -isms and believes in collective autonomy. The announcement also stresses the need for real humanist education, wisdom, and original cultural creation.
The new party believes in the ideas and values that created the idea of a united Europe, but deplores the subjugation to a new form of serfdom. The party also specifically mentions the fight against poverty and social exclusion, focusing on the dynamic of Greeks.
Teleia in its announcement plans to reinforce the presence of Hellenism, inside and outside borders, investing on the psyche and dynamics of Greeks, and will struggle to bring back the youth that left the country because of the crisis.
The new party says it is hammering out a new robust and able Greece for the present and the future.
