Full steam ahead for the 4-day Greek Festival in Whitestone

The Greek Orthodox Community of the Holy Cross in Whitestone, Queens is gearing up for the four-day Greek Festival, which will begin on the evening of Thursday, June 6, 2024 with the consecration to be performed by Fr. Nikolaos Paros and will conclude on the evening of Sunday, June 9, 2024 at 9:00 p.m.
The festival will provide the opportunity for thousands of visitors from Queens and the other areas of the New York metropolitan area to enjoy Greek and Cypriot dishes and the famous loukoumades, spend pleasant moments with their families and be rebaptized with Greek-Christian traditions. Entry is free to the public
The festival will be a destination not only for lovers of Greek gastronomy and culture in general, but will also function as a meeting place for families, and as in previous years, the Luna Park will also function.
As in previous years, the community has ensured the operation of a lottery with great prizes.
The festival is one of the community's largest cultural and fundraising events, as its proceeds will be used to support its educational, cultural and charitable programs.
