  • Written by

The highly anticipated The Other Woman film will be released April 25th. Greek-American style icon Patricia Field costumed the movie, which is predicted to be a hit.

The winner of two Emmy Awards, five Costume Designers Guild Awards and a Satellite Award for Costume Design for Sex and the City, Ugly Betty, Mother Goose Rock 'n' Rhyme and The Devil Wears Prada, Field has forever transformed the international platform of film and TV glamour and fashion.

The movie's plot centers around a woman's realization that she is not her boyfriend's primary lover and partners up with his wife, who then jointly conspire for revenge. Field admitted to Vogue that she signed on for the role of costume designer because she really wanted to collaborate with actress Cameron Diaz. Field constructed the four main female character's wardrobes including Leslie Mann, Cameron Diaz, Kate Upton and Nicky Minaj.

Field is best known for her Emmy Award winning work on the "Sex and the City" series and movies. Her mother hails from Lesvos, while her Armenian father was born in Constantinople. The designer's Greek heritage was strongly given to her throughout her childhood, from her yiayia. Field visits Greece multiple times a year and has a huge Hellenic following. Her work was showcased during last fall's Athens Fashion Week. The successful Greek-American's Manhattan boutique and clothing line coined Patricia Field, define urban style sophistication and is a true staple of the New York fashion scene.
