Galatasaray fans' new death threats include Greeks, Russians

A picture of a banner on which Galatasaray fans wonder which fan from the teams the Turkish club comes up against will be killed has been posted on the internet, one day after the stabbing murder of Red Star Belgrade fan Marko Ivkovic.
The incidents that transpired Friday night with clashes between Galatasaray and Serb fans, and resulted in the stabbing of the hapless Serb, have taken on ethnic dimensions, and the Turkish fans have now included Russians and Greeks in their threats.
The photo circulating on the internet shows a question as to who will be next to die with check boxes provided for organized fans of Olympiakos, Partizan, and CSSK.
Olympiakos will be facing Galatasarayin Istanbul in mid-December for the 8th game day of the Euroleague, a game already pegged as “dangerous.”
