- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
It was straight from the game with Olympiakos to the ICU for Galatasaray player Nathan Jawai, after doctors feared he suffered a heart attack.
Galatasaray's Australian center, felt severe chest pains and numbness in limbs, moments after the match with Olympiakos for the Euroleague. He was immediately taken to hospital and admitted to the ICU, and began a series of tests to determine his condition.
A preliminary doctors' assessment speaks of a blow received by the player during the game that caused damage to blood vessels in the head. So far reports from Galatasaray are downplaying the significance of the player's condition.
