The sad state of Greek football: FC owners come to blows
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
According to sport-fm.gr, the owner of Chania FC, Mr. Iraklis Niktaris, beat up the owner of Larissa FC, Mr. Alexis Kougias, at “Eleftherios Venizelos” airport.
It seems that, before the fisticuffs, they had a verbal confrontation.
Mr. Niktaris was arrested, while both of them filed a lawsuit at the local Police Dept.
It has to be mentioned that Mr. Kougias had made a complaint that “a known malefactor, who lives on Crete and Athens -and in the past he was related to OFI FC- and he is related now with Chania FC, blackmailed him and threatened his life”.
