Hellenic Football Federation backed down, Play Offs to start on Wednesday
The officials of Hellenic Football Federation backed down and informed the teams that they will appoint referees for Play Offs' games, which will start on Wednesday as scheduled.
SDNA had informed its readers that Panathinaikos, AEK, PAOK and Nova Channel were ready to take strong legal action against HFF's decision not to appoint referees at Play Offs' games, with the possibility of even suing their officials for loss of expected profit.
That threat forced the administration of Hellenic Football Federation to back down and inform the interested clubs that they will appoint referees regularly and the Play Offs will start on Wednesday as scheduled, with Panionios-Panathinaikos and PAOK-AEK clashes.
