Iceland beat Greece in the semi final of FIBA U-20 European Championship
Iceland Basketball National Team U-20 won 70-67 against Greece, in the semi final of FIBA U-20 European Championship's Division B at Chalkida Stadium.
Shooting guard Kari Jonsson (29 points, 8 rebounds) was the MVP of the match, while Vasilis Charalampopoulos (14 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists), Michalis Lountzis (11 points, 5 rebounds) and Vasilis Toliopoulos (11 points) the best performers of head coach Ilias Papatheodorou side.
Greece National Team should now beat Croatia, on Sunday's 3rd place game, in order to secure promotion to Division A.
