Who is Sam Burnelle, PAOK's new player that's burning hearts in Thessaloniki

Her name is Sam Brunelle and it is almost certain that she will soon become a slogan on the lips of PAOK basketball fans.
The 23-year-old American crossed the Atlantic, arrived in Thessaloniki to play basketball with the PAOK jersey and has already made a splash with her performances in friendly games as well as appearances in the capital of Macedonia.
Samantha started playing basketball at the age of 3 and was a member of the US U16, U17 and U18 national teams. She is a power forward with a height of 1.87m and from a young age she liked to destroy opponent s ' baskets.
Her mother, Kate, is a basketball coach and has greatly influenced her in her game while her father, Rod, is a former baseball player. Sam, who has no siblings, combined basketball and studies by choosing to major in business administration.
She studied and excelled at the prestigious universities of Virginia and Notre Dame and had tremendous scores in the NCAA. With the US National team (U17) she has distinctions at the world level while in 3X3 he has a gold medal at the Youth Olympic Games.
In the NCAA she had four great seasons and her decision to come to play basketball in Europe and specifically in Greece caused a sensation. "I am excited to come to Greece, and I will compete in a top club like PAOK. Something that makes me even more excited is that I will compete for the best fans in Greece. See you soon, let's go to PAOK!" she had said when she signed and was announced by PAOK.
The 23-year-old basketball player who has won many awards in college and about whom ESPN had written the best, has played her first friendlies with the Thessaloniki team and shows how she will become their leader.
And the young American has also fallen in love with the city of Thessaloniki. She hangs out with the other girls in the team and can't get enough of walks on the beach of Thessaloniki and in the center as well.
She has already tried the famous trigona panoramatos pastries and other traditional sweets of Greece, but she visits restaurants in the city to taste different dishes. Of course, she could not have left out the famous Bougatsa of Thessaloniki.
Brunelle also has an adorable dog and is so "crazy" about him that she even opened an Instagram account for him.
The beautiful American shows that she came to stay in Thessaloniki and is already "burning" hearts...
