Greece beats Scotland secures Nations League promotion from "young blood"

Greece's youth-laden national team defeated Scotland 3-0 on Sunday, securing promotion to the top tier of the UEFA Nations League.
Overcoming a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in Piraeus, Greece scored three goals to win the home-and-away playoff 3-1 on aggregate.
Giannis Konstantelias scored the first goal and assisted on goals by Konstantinos Karetsas and Christos Tzolis. Greece had multiple opportunities to increase their lead in the second half.
Konstantinos Karetsas, at 17.5 years old, became Greece's youngest-ever scorer in the Nations League, making his first start for the national team.
Coach Ivan Jovanovic's team showcased the potential of Greece's new generation of players.
