Injured Soccer Star Mitroglou Back in the Game!
Greek National Team player Costas Mitroglou, who was injured during Thursday's World Cup game against Japan, will participate in the nation's final match.
Greece is scheduled to compete against the Ivory Coast. On Friday, Mitroglou underwent further medical testing. According to Kathimerini, a soccer official described the athlete's current condition: "He looks set to play in the last group game...He will undergo some more checks but looks to be OK." If Greece is to advance in the World Cup in Brazil, the team has to defeat the Ivory Coast.
