Tourism Figures Rise in Cyprus
Cyprus received 373,086 tourists last month, in comparison to last year's same timeframe that held 352,215 travelers, marking a 5.9% rise as confirmed by the nation's Statistical Service.
In a Passengers Survey analysis, UK tourists recorded a 6.5% gain, Russian travelers increased by 11.6%, and Israel vacationers soared by 61.7%. Yet, an 18.2% reduction was experienced by Greek tourists, a 9.7% drop was determined for Swedish citizens, a 3.9% decline in German travelers and a 14.5% decline by Norwegians.
For the initial eight months of 2104, tourism arrivals finalized at 1,734,880, while 2013's same time period's figure was 1,637,792 travelers; resulting in a 5.9% rise.
