Germanwings Debuts Direct Cyprus Flights
Germanwings introduced its weekly flights to and from Larnaca International Airport and Cologne, Germany over the weekend.
The German air carrier that is owned and operated by Lufthansa, will offer flights every Saturday between Cyprus and Germany's fourth largest city. Hermes Airports, which oversees both major airports on the island, believes that the newly introduced German flights will attract additional tourists to the island.
The Cypriot airport company added that travelers can now prosper from Germanwing's connecting flights to a plethora of European and other international locations, through both Germanwings and Lufthansa. The Lufthansa Group is the proprietor of Brussels Airlines, Austrian Airlines and Swiss International Air Lines.
