Η United Airlines on Thursday inaugurated its direct daily route connecting Washington Dulles International Airport with Athens for the summer.
The UA passenger jet that connected the two capitals for the first time was greeted with the customary “water salute” by adjacent fire engines at the Eleftherios Venizelos Airport.
UA will fly the state-of-the-art Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner on the route, which is equipped with the award-winning United Polaris SM business class cabin and United Premium Plus SM seats.
