Over 2,500 hotels and other tourist accommodations are being sold throughout Greece

In particular, in the center of Athens there are currently 276 hotels and other accommodations for sale, of which 182 have recently updated their information, which means that their owners are enriching their content to make them more attractive to potential investors .

In Athens
For the most part, the accommodation for sale in the center of the capital is located in areas such as Plaka, Monastiraki, Metaxourgeio, Larissa Station and neighborhoods around Omonia Square. A typical example is a luxury hotel of 9,000 sq.m. in the historic center of Athens, 7 floors, 200 rooms, built in 1975 overlooking the Acropolis, which is for sale at the price of 75 million euros.

Another interesting example is a 20,000 sq.m. hotel. near the Omonia metro, 10 floors, 390 rooms, 70 parking spaces, built in 1966 with a view of the Acropolis, offered for 60 million euros.

 
At the same time, in the area of Metaxourgeio, which is still growing in terms of tourism, an urban hotel, 4 stars, 6,000 sq.m., 10 levels, 150 rooms, built in 1970, is being sold for 25 million.

If you look at newer buildings that house hotels, it is found that the prices range from 20 million to 25 million, especially for hotels built close to 2000 and renovated at least once.

In the southern suburbs
On the other hand, in the southern suburbs of the city, 29 hotels and other accommodations appear for sale, with prices starting from around 1.2 million euros and reaching up to 22 million euros, in areas considered tourist hotspots , as they touch or border the Athenian Riviera. For example, in a new listing for the sale of a hotel, a 3,000 sq.m., 54-room hotel, built in 1998 and renovated in 2010, overlooking the sea, is offered at the Golf of Glyfada, at a price of 23 million euros.

In the northern suburbs
In the northern suburbs, it appears that a 1,300 m2 hotel, built in 1974, renovated in 2004, is for sale at a price of 4.5 million euros.

In Thessaloniki
In the north of the country, specifically in the heart of the co-capital, 29 hotels and other accommodations are for sale, located in the center of Thessaloniki. Their prices range from 350 thousand to 9 million euros. A typical example is a 3,900 sq.m. hotel. just 5 minutes walk from Aristotelous Square, Tsimiski, the main shopping street of the city and the beach, which is for sale 9 million euros. Another interesting hotel is located in the area of the Ancient Agora. It has a total area of approximately 2,500 sq.m., 80 rooms, was built in 1963 and is offered at a price of 6 million euros.

Just outside the city, in regional municipalities of Thessaloniki, 31 hotels and other accommodations are listed for sale, with prices ranging from 700 thousand euros to 5.5 million euros. Thermi, Oreokastro and Pylaia are the areas with the largest offer of hotels. For example, a 4,200 sq.m. hotel is offered in Thermi. built in 2003 and renovated in 2017, 67 rooms with 2 swimming pools, at a price of 5.5 million euros.

In the Cyclades

As for other popular tourist areas of the country, 518 hotels and other accommodations are sold in the Cyclades, of which 90 are in Mykonos, 167 in Santorini and 108 in Paros.

For example, a 5-star hotel in Elia, Mykonos, on the sea, with an area of 3,500 sq.m., 81 rooms, is offered for 45 million euros, while in Platy Gyalos, a hotel of 3,300 sq.m. with permission to extend to an additional 1,000 sq.m., also for sale €45m.

On the equally famous island of the Cyclades, Santorini, an interesting case concerns a hotel for sale in Imerovigli. The hotel has 21 apartments, a swimming pool and is offered for 25 million euros. In Naoussa of Paros on the other hand, a hotel of 2,600 sq.m. 59 rooms, offered for 18 million euros.

In Crete
The Crete market is also showing great mobility. Only in Heraklion, 233 hotels and other accommodations are sold, in Lassithi 76, in Chania 44 and in Rethymnon 62. The example of the sale of a hotel is typical  in Rethymnon, 6,800 sq.m., 120 rooms, 150 meters from the beach and about 1 kilometer from the city, which is offered for 11.1 million euros.

In the Dodecanese
In the Dodecanese, there are 233 hotels and other accommodations offered for sale. Of these, 154 are in Rhodes and 32 in Kos. For example, in the city of Rhodes, a 5-star hotel with 1,300 beds is sold for 80 million, while in Kos, a 5-star hotel with 470 rooms is offered for 46 million euros.

In the Ionian

In the Ionian Islands, more than 300 hotels and other accommodations are for sale, of which 153 are in Corfu and 89 in Zakynthos. Hotel prices reach 32 million euros in Corfu and 25 million euros in Zakynthos.

In other regions of Greece
As for other regions of the country, 99 hotels and other accommodations are sold in Argolis, 29 in Arcadia, 92 in Achaia, 57 in Laconia, 72 in Corinthia, 50 in Messinia, 119 in Magnesia, 46 in Sporades, 99 in Kavala, in Pieria 162 hotels, while in Chios, Samos and Lesvos, a total of 91 tourist units are sold.
