It all starts at the airport - Mr. Andrews in Fraport Greece's new campaign

Featured It all starts at the airport - Mr. Andrews in Fraport Greece's new campaign

A stranger who becomes an acquaintance. An arrival that becomes an experience.

His name is Mr. Andrews. Tourist? Not exactly. Traveler? Closer. Visitor? Maybe. In fact, he is something broader: he is the personification of every person who arrives in Greece in search of authenticity and tradition. Fraport Greece introduces us to the protagonist of its new campaign with a short film, full of emotion, imagination and aesthetics.

Mr. Andrews gets off the plane, at one of the 14 regional airports managed by Fraport Greece. The camera follows him without dialogue - it is not necessary. His eyes say more than words. It is the look that someone has when they see something for the first time and at the same time feel that they have always carried it inside them.

Fraport Greece: "Welcome" as we mean it in Greece

This is not a simple campaign. It is an ode to hospitality, to detail and to experience. Mr. Andrews is not simply impressed by the landscapes – he lets them shape him. He does not “go on vacation”. He goes one step further: he connects. And this is the heart of Fraport Greece’s message.

The new campaign spot, directed by Konstantinos Stagikas, with the creative signature of Valuecom and produced by The Stripes, speaks with images, music and expressions. It is world-class, but with a Greek soul.

Airports as modern crossroads of authenticity

For Fraport Greece, each of the 14 regional airports is not just a transportation hub. It is a living bridge between the world and Greece, colorful, spontaneous, kind, unpretentious. It is a ticket that leads not just to destinations, but to experiences. From the crystal clear waters of Samos to the alleys of Santorini and the picturesque spots of Kavala, every airport managed by Fraport Greece exudes Greek nobility! It is also every smile from the experienced staff, who always make you feel welcome.

Fraport Greece, since 2017 when it took over the management of the country’s 14 regional airports, has been working with a clear strategy: to enhance the traveler’s experience, to invest in infrastructure with respect for the environment and to connect effectively with local communities. The “Mr. Andrews” campaign embodies all of this. It highlights the importance of authenticity, but also responsibility. Because a traveler does not only ask for beautiful photos, but also true hospitality. In this way, the “Mr. Andrews” campaign is part of the company’s long-term strategy to strengthen sustainable tourism development.

Recognizing that each airport is the first point of contact with the country, Fraport Greece consistently invests in improving infrastructure, environmental responsibility and promoting local identity. From upgrading services to cultural connections with local communities, the company sees each regional airport as a hub of life and development. Not only for travelers, but also for local communities connected to the global map.

If you were Mr. Andrews, what would you take with you?

Maybe a handmade porcelain jug from Rhodes. Maybe the smile of the person who gave you directions with Google Translate and a lot of heart. Maybe, simply, one step closer to the version of yourself that feels freer, lighter and always present.

Fraport Greece makes sure to remind us in the most characteristic way that travel is not the flight, but a complete experience, which begins where you land!

Become a traveler of authentic Greece!
