Kitten saved by tourist on Spetses travels to forever home in US

The kitten, which was rescued from Spetses thanks to a tourist, while it had fallen into the water, is traveling to America.
The incident had gone viral thanks to a video on Tik Tok, which showed the girl, named Coco Gozlan, who lives in the US, diving into the sea to save the kitten, while everyone was telling her that "it's not safe because of some boat that probably passing."
The young girl, however, dove in fully clothed and in "half a minute" had pulled the kitten out, gaining supportive comments for her act even from the island's Spetses Care For Animals (SCFA) structure, which cheered the tourist for her heroic act.
The kitten was named Spetsy, inspired by the island of Spetses where he was supposed to meet his family, after the American woman declared from the first moment that she wanted to take him home with her.
Today, Wednesday July 24th, Spetzy made a transatlantic journey to her forever home in the US, which can be seen through her personal Instagram account, @spetzygirl, where she uploads photos. The account was created to publicize the GoFundMe campaign, which contributes to the expenses of people who have pets, especially in America.
On Specy's page, the American defends in her own way the Coast Guard officer who tried to stop her from diving, but she says he was "a sweet young kid" and "didn't know what to do," as well as that people don't have to be mean to him.
