Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis, the Republican and Conservative Party candidate in New York's 11th Congressional District (Brooklyn/Staten Island), was named a "Contender" today by House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy and the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC). Malliotakis was one of 35 candidates elevated to the "Contender" level, the second tier of the NRCC's 2020 Young Guns program.
