New Greek TV covered Greek Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Evangelos Venizelos' major meetings concerning Greek issues, during the 69th United Nations General Assembly session held at UN headquarters in New York City.
In our featured segment that can be viewed by scrolling down to the very bottom of the page, Venizelos met with Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades, other major leaders, and members of the Greek-American community. Major topics of discussion included the Cypriot issue, the FYROM name issue and international crises at large.
Venizelos also spoke to Greek-Americans concerning the preservation of Hellenism, needed support of the homeland, and the diaspora. We spoke with Consul General Georgios Iliopoulos, Ambassador to the U.S. Christos Panagopoulos and Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations Michel Spinellis, during Venizelos' address at the Greek Consul General office in Manhattan.
