Cyprus Requests International Arena to Denounce Turkey's EEZ Violations
Cypriot Government Spokesman Nicos Christodoulides has called on the global arena to denounce Turkey's illegal acts within the island's Exclusive Economic Zone.
While speaking in Paphos, Christodoulides spoke of the need for a united front on the matter. He urged all interested nations to demand that Turkey cease its Cypriot violations so that UN-approved negotiations between the two territories can restart.
However, the Government Spokesman cautioned that discussions can't continue while Turkey directly disregards Cyprus' sovereign rights and that this act clearly shows that the nation is not willing to reach a solution. Christodoulides repeated "our will and determination for the solution of the Cyprus problem," according to Parikiaki.
