President Anastasiades Discusses Cypriot Economic Improvements
Addressing the yearly General Meeting of the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) in Nicosia last night, President Nicos Anastasiades discussed the nation's recent economic strides and that the financial sector will be turned around by next year.
The Cypriot President stated, "The year 2015 is expected to be a year of positive growth for the economy. It will be the year when we turn page," according to Parikiaki. He added, "My conviction is that the banking sector of Cyprus will become, sooner than everybody expects, the actual lifeblood of the Cypriot economy."
Anastasiades discussed the factors that have assisted the economy, "The dynamic private sector and the government's prudent policies are the two ingredients that have kept the economy upright." Additionally, the President of the Republic of Cyprus discussed needed structural reforms, new development models, modernization endeavors, and enhanced tourism efforts.
