SYRIZA Leader Tsipras’ Comments, Rome

  • Written by

During his travels in Rome, SYRIZA leader Alexis Tsipras stated that Greece won't receive money but that its creditors will, as reported by ANA-MPA.

He voiced his stance during a speech at the historical site of Piazza Farnese. The SYRIZA leader claimed this past Friday, "We won a critical battle, but the war is still ahead".

Tsipras further commented, "the governments of creditors are ceding to the private sector public businesses, public assets and public natural assets, violating the supreme criterion of public interest". The SYRIZA chief also participated in "The Other Europe with Tsipras" rally.
