Russia Reevaluates Possible Greek Import Restrictions

Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance chief Sergey Dankvert has stated that his nation's government appears to be reassessing an import restriction on Greek fruit, as reported by ANA-MPA.

Dankvert stated, "We have very constructive relations with the Phytosanitary Control Department of Greece", according to Interfax. He commented, "there should be no fears as to our actions."

The Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance chief claimed that discussions between both nations concerning exports to Russia will finalize before the week's end. He said, "Should the need arise, our experts can travel to Greece to conduct product inspections before they are loaded".
