June Marks 1.1% PPI Increase
Today, the Hellenic Statistical Authority confirmed that industrial sector's producer price composite index increased by 1.1% last month, compared to last year's same timeframe.
June 2013 brought a 0.6% rise as well. In its analysis, the statistic firm based the improvement as a result of a 1.5% increase in the domestic market producer price index, along with a 0.5% decrease in the external market index, as reported by ANA-MPA. In June, the producer price index increased 0.4% compared to May, while the same time period in 2013 held a 0.1% decrease.
