Thessaloniki Police Catch Staged Robbery Worth 220,000 Euros
The Thessaloniki police force arrested and charged a 47-year-old female for the theft of 220,000 euros, which she had orchestrated as a robbery.
Her husband had previously hidden the funds in their attic. When he was not home, she relocated the revenues on May 25th and later staged a raid, according to reports.
After her husband returned home, he reported a robbery to police. Law enforcers determined that the money had been moved by the criminal, who also hid $1,000 at her sister's residence. The woman later admitted to the crime and was charged.
