The backwash from the interview given by Manolis Glezos began to appear from the very moment it broke on the news!
Today, the disagreement about the policy pursued by the government of SYRIZA, on the measures made the front page of the Financial Times.
Manolis Glezos in his article apologizes to the Greek people for the sake of the government since one month after the elections the announcements for abolition of the Troika have not yet become reality and he stigmatises the renamed Institutions and the Memorandum on the Agreement stressing that "someone baptizes fish as meat, while not changing the previous situation."
The interview is just an indication of internal squables that have arisen inside SYRIZA, as hardliners see the deal being attempted by the government with creditors is seen by the left party fringes as a sell-out.
After the declaration of Manolis Glezos and the reactions provoked within SYRIZA, another MP expressed concern and serious doubts, today, as to the agreement with the Eurogroup.
Economist and MP for Imathia Costas Lapavitsas through an article on his personal weblog says the agreement reached by the Government with the Eurogroup on Friday poses five questions on the implementation of the so-called pre-election Thessaloniki program and the subsequent policy statements.
