The international press is focusing on former finance minister Yanis Varoufakis' admission that Plan B for Greece involved, among other things, “hacking” into Greek taxpayers personal tax codes.
German daily Die Welt made reference to a secret operation Grexit where the former minister hacked from his own ministry.
German tabloid Bild wonders how much of Varoufakis’ plan Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras was aware of.
Bild reports that Tsipras had given the green light for a Grexit plan in December 2014 and that this had been secretly planned for by SYRIZA.
Furthermore, the newspaper reports that hardline SYRIZA members had visited the Russian Kremlin in May 2014 to discuss a Grexit plan.
Meanwhile, general secretary for social security Romanias noted that such practices constitute a veritable para-state mechanism, on a private TV channel.
