Tsipras: We have to take important decisions in EU to leave the crisis behind us
- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
We have to take important decisions in the European Union in order to leave the crisis behind us, Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Wednesday said receiving the president of the European Council Donald Tusk at the Maximos Mansion.
"All member states need to assume their responsibilities in order to keep Europe united and safe," Tsipras underlined.
On his part, Tusk expressed optimism over the conclusion of the second programme review. "Thanks to the determination and the realism shown, we are very close to concluding the second review," he stated. However, he cleared out that we are still far away from talking about a success story in the Greek economy.
