Appeal against the Henderson murder case in Zakynthos

An appeal against the judgment of the court of Patras on the case of Bakari Henderson's death in July 2017 in Laganas, Zakynthos, was today brought by the Deputy Prosecutor of Appeals of Patras, Georgios Bissikis.
The appeal was lodged, on the basis of a request made by Henderson's family lawyers, which was upheld, for seven of the nine total defendants.
According to legal circles, the six defendants will be tried in the Joint Court of Appeals for joint intentional homicide, while the seventh for simple synergy in homicide by intent.
It is recalled that according to the judgment of the Joint Jury, the six defendants were found guilty of fatal intended bodily harm, fatal bodily injury and heavy physical injury, and the seventh for simple bodily harm.
