Georgian shoot out in Thessaloniki

A shooting incident took place late Monday night, in the center of Thessaloniki, very close to the Christmas village set up by the municipality at the Courts Square.
According to first ιinformation from GRTimes, a Georgian man began chasing three other people in the Halkeon area and during the episode shot twice with a pistol, causing panic among passers by. As it became known, the people he was shooting at were also from Georgia.
The police sounded an alarm and within a short time, strong forces rushed to the area and reportedly arrested the perpetrator, who also had a knife along with his handgun.
It is still unknown if there was an injury during the incident, the first call was made by a police officer who was off duty.
