Police seize 771 imitation Apple products in Athens

771 pieces of imitation Apple products were seized and destroyed during a raid in the fight against copyright infringement in downtown Athens.
A report by the Ministry of Development and Investments on twitter, citing the report, said the search was carried out last night in the center of the capital, at Socratous-Euripidou Streets, and yielded the seizure and destruction of 771 pieces of Apple imitation goods.
"The fight against illicit retail trade continues unabated!" The ministry underlined in its posting on social media.
In Greece, imitation products are known as "monkeys" (maimoudes)
