- Written by E.Tsiliopoulos
The European Commission has approved a 10 mln euro support budget for Greece's coronavirus-afflicted floriculture production sector, Executive Vice-President Margrethe Vestager announced on Tuesday.
The aid will "help these farmers to cover their immediate liquidity needs and continue their activities during these challenging times," Vestager noted.
The support will not exceed 100,000 euros per company, regardless of size, and can be granted until December 31, 2020.
