FM Dendias speaks with Russian counterpart Lavrov

Foreign Affairs Minister Nikos Dendias exchanged views and recent policy experiences in tackling the coronavirus pandemic with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, speaking on the telephone on Thursday.
Dendias also thanked Lavrov for his help in the repatriation of Greeks stranded in Russia after most airlines cancelled flights.
The Greek minister emphasized the importance of the Joint Action Plan signed by Athens and Moscow for the strengthening of political, economic and cultural ties.
The impact of tourist flows from Russia to Greece was also emphasized as contributing to enhanced relationships between the two peoples, while the two ministers also discussed developments in Syria and Libya.
