One of the first flights with Israeli tourists arrived in Greece shortly before 11:00 on Friday morning.
OREN's camera was at the "Eleftherios Venizelos" airport, where the first tourists from Tel Aviv landed. They held in their hands the vaccination certificate, which allows them to start their vacation immediately, without quarantine.
"Here it says the name, here the ID number, here the date of validation and now it is valid for 6 months," a tourist told OPEN, showing his certificate.
Vaccinated Israeli passengers can enter Greece without a 7-day quarantine from March 25, according to NOTAM of the CAA. As provided, the entry into Greece of passengers from Israel (permanent residents) is allowed in the case of completion of vaccination for coronavirus COVID-19 and presentation of a vaccination certificate in English, which has been issued by a public authority under following conditions
Fourteen (14) days after the completion of their vaccination
Their negative diagnosis after a laboratory test for COVID-19 coronavirus with the PCR method that has been performed by taking an oral-pharyngeal or nasopharyngeal smear within the last seventy two (72) hours before their arrival in Greece.
