In this direction, the cooperation with the Greek craftsmen, from Thrace to Crete and from Epirus to its islands, began with the connection of the historic French House with the tradition of Greek handicrafts - in the context of the promotion of the European cultural heritage.

Dior plans to focus the spotlight on the Kallimarmaro Stadium, in the heart of Athens, on the night of June 17, where it intends to present in a live television broadcast around the world, the special collection dedicated to Greece. For this reason, a request was submitted, which will be examined by the Central Council of Modern Monuments. After all, as Dior states, the concepts of Phos (light) and Kallos (beauty) that began to shine 2,500 years ago in Athens are completely identical with the aesthetic values ​​and quality that the House stands for.

Focusing on the glamorous fashion show in Kallimarmaro, Dior has asked for permission to take some photos with the creations that have the theme of Greek heritage and Greek culture in emblematic places, such as the Acropolis, the Herodion and the Temple of Hephaestus, always with respect to the historicity of the monuments. The request will be examined by the Central Archaeological Council in accordance with the provisions of law 3028/2002 "On the Protection of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage in general".
