Thessaloniki woman fined for hosting 54 dogs and not ensuring their well being

A woman hosted 16 dogs in her house and took care of another 38 in the adjacent plot, in the area of Letis Thessaloniki.
After complaints about the existence of a large number of companion animals, police officers from the Kordelios-Evosmos and Oriokastro departments, with the assistance of a judicial officer and a representative of the local municipality, visited the house and found the huge number of dogs that the woman was hosting. However, the investigation revealed that the area was not clean and did not ensure the well-being of the four-legged animals, so an administrative fine of 2,000 euros was imposed.
