Fire on 4 boats in Marina Zeas, near Athens - Three sank

A fire broke out on a boat in Marina Zeas, which spread to neighboring boats, resulting in three burning and sinking, and the fourth suffering serious damage and tilting.
The fire broke out in the early hours of Thursday, at approximately 3:30 am, for an unknown reason, on one of the boats tied up in Marina Zeas. Very quickly, due to the flammable materials, the fire spread to neighboring boats, resulting in major material damage, while one sank.
According to an eyewitness, the fire started on a wooden boat and then spread to neighboring yachts.
According to the same information, the wooden boat on which the fire first broke out was on tourist routes to Aegina and Moni
The fire broke out at approximately 3:30 in the morning and quickly spread to three boats that were next to the wooden sailboat.
Initially, the wooden sailboat and two of the boats sank, while the fourth was found below the surface of the water shortly before 9 in the morning.
The fire department rushed immediately, with 20 firefighters, 8 vehicles and 4 boats for water spraying from the sea.
