Unique video from the Evros Delta: A herd of wild horses crosses the rapid waters of the swollen river (video)

It's something that peopole rarely think of when they bring Greece to mind, but a rare and impressive wildlife video was captured in the Evros Delta, when the swollen river from recent rainfall became the setting for a unique natural “performance”.
As seen in the video of a passerby published by the local website e-evros.gr, a large herd of wild horses was seen crossing the rushing waters, defying the strong current and highlighting the power and resilience of nature.
The impressive video that was made public captures one of the most authentic images of the wetland ecosystem of the region.
