Fire Igniting Criminal Faces Athenian Courts
Today, a flame igniting criminal will face the Athenian courts after starting a brush fire in the capital.
The 58-year-old man whose name has yet to be revealed, is accused of creating the blaze in the northern Athens region of Oropos. He is believed to have intentionally created a forest fire and was arrested at approximately 1:00 a.m.
Athens is currently experiencing a heat wave and firefighters remain on high alert. Greece is consistently plagued by premeditated fires during its summer season.
